PRETTY FLOWERS
I trimmed my rose bush back earlier in the spring and it really came back in full force! This was the first blooms, it's blooming again now with as much vim and vigor! I am having a bit of a pest problem with the Japanese Beetles, grrrr. I will spray again today, I think I've just about got them.

Lovely. We've had so much rain here that everything is dieing from fungus and too much rain!!!

Lovely flowers you've got!!!
Oh, your roses look beautiful! I've finally given up on mine--the blackspot is just too hard to control. Like penless thoughts, we've had so much rain that everything looks terrible. My flowers and tomatoes are drowning. Finally, we've had a couple of days without rains--yeah!!!
The plant is beautiful. I hope you get the bugs. Have a good week. connie from Texas
Just beautiful! I havn't had great luck getting roses to make it through the winter here in the mountains and I miss having them! I do have several big wild rose bushes that are all around my front porch and under my window..during the time they bloom it is heavenly..and I harvest the rosehips..so I shouldn't complain. I miss having tea roses though!!
So pretty Mikki, I just love roses!
A beautiful rose bush!!
:)
Beautiful roses!
I have no luck at all with roses, here. They always seem to get black spot. The only kind that seem to thrive are Knockouts!

Hi Mikki Jo,
I will see if I can find something that Aunt Glenda made that would look good in your cabin.
Hugs Nancy Jo
Nancy Jo, thanks so much! That would be wonderful!
hello...haven't talked to you in awhile so I wanted to come by and say hi! hope all is well your way. God Bless!
I'm having Japanese beetle problems, too. They are everywhere! I couldn't buy enough bt to cover our yard, so I guess I'll live with them...
What gorgeous roses! I'm sorry to be so late noticing them. You must really have a green thumb :-) Do you know what the variety that rose bush is? Not that I could ever dream to have roses so spectacular where I live (black spot hell, Japanese beetle heaven!), but I'm curious.
