My parents met in a strawberry patch, fell in love, and the rest was indeed a fairy tale type love story. Thank you Lord for the love they shared that brings life to every relationship I have.

oh Mikki Jo...I have thought of you often these last eight months since my dad died. It was sudden, that dreaded phone call in the middle of the night. His younger sister the month after that; his uncle the following month. Then in August his mom, my grandma passed on. My mom, my childen & my husband & I have just held on to each other tight. And Yes...I KNOW my dad is with Jesus, dancing in the streets of Glory finally singing in tune as one of his dear friends stated at his funeral. I will just always miss him fiercely until I see him again.
Thank you for sharing on the forum. It's good be back. I had stayed away b/c I tend to express myself best in writing but the emotion that would have poured out prior to now would not have been contained. It just hurts too much.
I love what you say about your family. I have found a sad reality in the last eight months. Most everyone I know has divorced parents; that do not or will not understand what it is like to watch one parent grieve the loss of the other. Somedays that is the hardest part for me.
I have rambled on here. I am so glad to hear from you. When your dear mother died I am sure I sent my love, but NOW let me tell you again how truly sorry I am from a heart that understands.
Love you!
Bonnie
