Me dear Mama

Mom passed away on Thankgiving morning at 8:23 a.m. I was holding her hand and had just told her I love you Mommy, and she gently and peacefully went home to be with the Lord. A few minutes later the living room where we were all at with her, was filled with the brightest sunshine. Where it had been cloudy and overcast. My dad looked toward the sunshine and said Thank you Lord. I know where mom is and I'm thankful she didn't have any pain or suffering. Within 5 weeks of her lung cancer diagnosis and brain cancer, she is gone. It all happened so fast, but we made some wonderful memories the last 5 weeks. Blessings to you all and thanks so much for your prayers.

I am praying for you and your family. I know how hard this is for you. But yet isn't it nice to know that she is in Heaven waiting for you? She is free of cancer and all sickness and sorrow. She fought the good fight and is enjoying her reward. God be with you all.

Oh my...

Dear One...
I am sorry to hear about this. It's sad especially with it being the holiday season, but in the same sense you can rejoice because she is much better off where she's at then the rest of us down here...LOL. She is with our Lord!

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer Christmas 2004. It spread to his brain, kidney, his voice box, and before he died, his bones. He took radiation but refused the chemo, but really there was nothing else doctors could do.

My dad wasn't a Christian so I am glad your mom was.
It's been 2 years since my dad died. I miss him alot.

You and your family are in my heart and prayers!
If you ever want to vent or cry or chat, just drop me a message on my blog!

Hugs,
Dawn

Dear Mikki Jo, I want to join the others in expressing my sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your beloved mother. Losing a parent is never easy, no matter how old you are. Having lost my dad to cancer in 1979 when he was only 48 years old, the thought that he is at peace and pain free is what I hold on to...your mom is in that same wonderful place now:-) Hugs xoxo

My your mothers wings carry her to heaven, and may her spirit always be present in your life...her love will always remain in your heart.

I'm here from Tammy's to offer you my heartfelt sympathy. I lost my own dear Mom to brain cancer just 5 weeks after she was diagnosed. It's hard to take it in when it happens so quickly.
Like you, I held her hand as she peacefully left us.
Sending you prayers to comfort you at your time of loss.
((hugs))
